According to reports, Jagadish’s family had been residing in the Amruthahalli flat since 2018. In 2025, Ranjith also moved into the same flat with his wife and sister. During a heated quarrel, it is alleged that Ranjith, along with his wife and sister, got involved in the scuffle. Jagadish’s complaint states that Ranjith threatened him, saying: “This is my house, I will not leave.”

Police have registered the case under NCR, and the video evidence of the family quarrel has been secured for investigation.
