Backed by Dulquer Salmaan, the film Loka: Chapter 1 - Chandra, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, has grossed ₹126.90 crore in 21 days, securing the 4th spot among the highest-grossing female-led Indian films. This success has paved the way for the Loka series to expand into a five-part Malayalam cinematic universe.

The Dulquer Salmaan-backed Loka: Chapter 1 - Chandra, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, has achieved massive success. It has become the second highest-grossing Malayalam film and the first South Indian female-led film to cross the ₹100 crore mark.

The film has secured the fourth position among the highest-grossing female-led films in Indian cinema, surpassing the record set by Alia Bhatt’s Raazi. Directed by Dominic Arun, Loka: Chapter 1 - Chandra has earned ₹126.90 crore in its 21-day run, as reported by Sacnilk. With this achievement, it ranks fourth among the highest-grossing female-led films in Indian cinema.

Previously, Alia Bhatt’s Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Karan Johar, held the fourth spot with ₹123.74 crore. Based on current trends, the film is likely to cross the ₹135 crore mark. This success is set to position the Malayalam film industry as one of the most exciting in the country.
