Alert: Deadly Amoeba Lurking in Water: Over 70 Cases in Kerala, 19 Deaths!

A deadly outbreak of Naegleria fowleri, commonly known as the brain-eating amoeba, is spreading rapidly in Kerala. So far, 19 people have died, and 67 others have been infected. This amoeba thrives in stagnant water, lakes, and ponds. Symptoms include headache, fever, nausea, and vomiting. Although no cases have been reported in Karnataka, the state health department is on high alert. With proper precautions, there is no need to panic.
