Dharmasthala Case: Chinnayya’s Third Video Goes Viral... New Complaint Against Timarodi Team!

The Dharmasthala burial case has taken a new turn with old videos of Chinnayya going viral. Demands have been made to file a case against the Timarodi team under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) and the Goonda Act.

New developments have emerged in the case involving the illegal burial of bodies in Dharmasthala village. Videos of accused Chinnayya, currently in judicial custody, and Mahesh Shetty Timarodi, a Soujanya activist who is absconding in an illegal arms case, have gone viral on social media. The first video surfaced on Friday, followed by two more on Saturday, which have also gone viral. In these videos, Chinnayya claims to have buried numerous bodies in Dharmasthala village. “I’ve lost count of the bodies I’ve buried. They were all unclaimed bodies.

I even transported some in a vegetable cart,” he says. The videos detail 17 specific points related to the burials. The authenticity of the videos remains unclear. Although said to be two years old, a handwash bottle visible in one video shows an expiry date of June 2025, raising questions. These videos were posted online by an unknown source and have since gone viral. Bangladesh Stuns Sri Lanka in Thrilling Asia Cup Super Fours Opener: here is the info about "Naagin Derby" rivalry.

Chinnayya’s Statements:In the second video, Chinnayya claims he transported and buried numerous bodies in a vegetable cart in Dharmasthala. “There’s no count of the bodies buried near the bathing ghat,” he says. He also mentions burying the body of a young woman studying at a local college behind a school near a house, noting that no family members were grieving her death. The video references a specific “Spot No. 13” in the forest where unclaimed bodies were buried. In the third video, Chinnayya claims to have buried over 70 bodies at a turn in Dharmasthala village, including the body of a woman from Kerala.

“It wasn’t a crematorium; I buried bodies along the Netravati riverbank, too many to count. If the police provide security, I can show the exact locations,” he says. Timarodi responds, promising court-ordered protection for Chinnayya’s family. Chinnayya further mentions burying the body of a 12- to 14-year-old girl near a hotel by the Netravati bathing ghat and 8 to 9 bodies at the base of Banglegudda (Point No. 8). Allegations of Poisoning in Soujanya Case:A local resident, A.C. Chandra, has filed a complaint with the SIT, alleging that three individuals from Dharmasthala are being defamed on social media in connection with the burial case.

These individuals were previously accused in the Soujanya case but were cleared after investigation. Chandra claims that false allegations are still being made against them. Additionally, he alleges that Soujanya’s mother, Kusumavati, and her husband, Chandappa, were poisoned by people from the Dharmasthala area. However, this claim has been dismissed as false, with Chandra clarifying that Chandappa died of illness. He has demanded a thorough investigation and provided supporting documents with the complaint. The complaint demands action against the team under KCOCA, the Goonda Act, and for their deportation. It alleges that Mahesh Shetty Timarodi, Girish Mattannavar, Vithal Gowda, YouTuber Sameer, Jayanth, and the Burude team have conspired to make false allegations against Dharmasthala.
