This festive season in Dharmasthala promises to be a beautiful confluence of devotion, culture, and community service, bringing together tradition and celebration.

Dharmasthala is set to celebrate the vibrant Navaratri festival from September 22 to October 1, with daily cultural programs scheduled at the Pravachana Mantapa from 6:00 PM onwards. A blend of devotional, classical, and light music performances will enthrall devotees and visitors.

Cultural Program Schedule:

  • September 22 – Bhakti Sangeet by Master Ashmith Mangalore

  • September 23 – Classical Music by Vidya S. Rao Troupe, Udupi

  • September 24 – Sitar recital by Anagha Avadhoot, Belagavi

  • September 25 – Classical Music by Srividya Ujire

  • September 26 – Bhakti Rasamanjari by Sinchana M. Gowda Troupe, Puttur

  • September 27 – Classical Music by Chandrika Rajaram, Bengaluru

  • September 28 – Classical Music by Anuradha Bhatt, Advasthala, Kepu, Vittla

  • September 29 – Classical Music by Srilakshmi Bellannu, Bengaluru

  • September 30 – Sugama Sangeetha by Navya M. R. and Troupe, Puttur

  • October 1 – 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM – Bhakti Rasamanjari by Aaradhya Rao, Bengaluru

  • 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM – Sugama Sangeetha by Kshiti Rai, Dharmasthala

Special Visit and Scholarship Distribution:

On September 21, Devendrakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Hombuja Jain Math will visit the Ratnatraya Jain Tirth Kshetra, located in Belthangady Jainapete, Ujire. As part of the visit, a scholarship distribution program will be held by the Kinnamma Yane Gunavathi Amma Memorial Trust, offering scholarships worth ₹25 lakhs to 700 students. Rituals and Religious Ceremonies:

At 7:00 AM, a Kalasha Abhishekam will be performed at the Shri Shantinath Swami Basadi. These events are organized in memory of Kellaguthu Sabrabailu Kinnamma Yane Gunavathi Amma, a former hereditary administrator of the basadi. In all three basadis, Navakalasha Abhishekam, Maha Pooja, and Alankara Pooja for Padmavati Amma will take place.

At 3:00 PM, Swamiji will preside over the scholarship distribution ceremony, with K. Jayavarma Raj Ballal, the hereditary administrator of the basadi, chairing the event.
