Darshan, the prime accused in the Renukaswamy case, is once again behind bars. Last year, he obtained interim bail citing back pain surgery. Subsequently, all other accused in the case were granted regular bail.
However, after being released from jail, Darshan did not undergo the surgery. Released on October 30 last year, Darshan received treatment in the hospital for a few days. After a brief rest, he returned to normal life by participating in the shooting of the film Devil.
It is true that due to back pain, he sometimes found it difficult to walk. He also received treatment at a hospital in Mysore. But he refused to undergo surgery. Darshan's close associate Zaid Khan has explained why Darshan did not agree to surgery despite such severe back pain.Tommy Hilfiger Quartz Multifunction White Dial Silicone Strap Watch for Men-NETH1791353
"I know about Darshan's back pain issue. During the filming of Kater, doctors advised him to undergo surgery. But Darshan sir refused. If he had surgery, he would need a year of rest. I don't want to waste a year without making movies and entertaining fans. That's why he told me he didn't want surgery," Zaid Khan recalls.
"I also faced back pain issues. I know how severe that pain is. For a year, I couldn't lie on the bed; I used to sleep on the floor. It was that painful. I can understand how much pain Darshan sir must be in," Zaid Khan said in an interview.
"During the check-up, a small scratch on the spine caused extra fat to press, disrupting blood circulation, leading to such intense pain. It feels like life is slipping away. That's what happened to me. I know that pain. Doctors said I needed surgery. All this happened during the filming of Kater."Allegation of Violating Personal Dignity... "Even then, he kept refusing surgery. Finally, I asked him, 'Anna, even with the pain, are you saying no to surgery?' That's when he said one thing," Zaid Khan recalls.
"When I insisted so much, he said: 'Surgery is fine. But doctors said I need a year of rest. If I take a year off without making movies, what will happen to my fans and the industry? I don't want surgery; I'll manage with steroids and injections somehow. I don't want the film industry to suffer because of this,'" Zaid Khan explained.
