The film Kottalavadi, produced by Pushpa Arun Kumar, is now in the news due to a remuneration controversy. First, actor Mahesh Guru, and now actress Swarna, have tearfully claimed in a viral video on social media that they have not received their payments and that their futures have been destroyed.

The Kottalavadi movie has been mired in multiple controversies even before its release. Amid allegations that artists who worked in the film have not been paid, actress Swarna has made another video expressing her grief. "Is it wrong for the poor to enter the film industry? They have ruined my life," she said emotionally.

Previously, actor Mahesh Guru had uploaded a video on Facebook accusing that he had not received his remuneration. Following that, an audio clip of Swarna's mother arguing with the director over the payment also went viral. Now, Swarna herself has shared her pain through a video. Director Shri Raj had previously stated, "They want publicity, that's why they're doing this." He also added, "We had informed Pushpa about paying them. We will file a police complaint against this."

However, Swarna clarified, "All that is lies; they have ruined my life. I hadn't complained about the remuneration issue. When they created a ruckus saying they wouldn't pay the remaining amount, I stayed silent, saying no need for cohabitation. I remained quiet thinking it might affect my future. "We worked so hard and consistently, got cheated, and even if we sit idle at home, is it right for you to do this? One mistake of yours will have a big impact on my future. Please understand this," Swarna appealed. "I believed my video would bring justice. But now speaking against me is painful," she added.

"Is there no one to deliver justice to us? What should happen to us if they lie? Can we live happily forever with the money they give? Doing this will affect future projects. I made a video just to clarify. Even then, they haven't listened to anything. Is their intention to tarnish our names? Is it wrong for the poor to enter the film industry?" the actress tearfully questioned. She also stated that her life has been ruined due to their deceit.
