In Bengaluru, robbers disguised as officials have struck, breaking into a home and looting approximately 1.5 crore rupees in broad daylight. The incident occurred in Yelahanka. -The four accused arrived in an Innova car with a fake number plate. They claimed to be government officials.
Pretending to be from the department, the four intruders entered the house.
-The robbery took place at the residence of Giriraju. Upon arrival, they questioned the family about the presence of money in the house and probed its source.
-They had prior information that the family had stashed cash in a bag in the kitchen.
Giriraju had brought the money home for a land purchase. The gang then asked for Giriraju's whereabouts. When told he was not in home, the accused seized the bag of cash and fled. The gang made off with a total of 1.5 crore in cash and 50 grams of gold jewelry.
