Karnataka High Court Stays State Government’s Rule Capping Movie Ticket Prices at ₹200

The Karnataka High Court has issued an interim stay on the state government’s ‘Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) (Amendment) Rules, 2025,’ which mandated a uniform ticket price cap of ₹200 (excluding taxes) for all language films screened in multiplexes and other theaters across the state.
