Thiruvananthapuram, September 23: A shocking incident has occurred in Placheri, Valakkud, Kollam district, Kerala, where a man brutally murdered his 39-year-old wife, Shalini. Following the crime, the accused, Isaac, confessed to the murder in a live Facebook video. On Monday around 6:30 AM, while Shalini was bathing, Isaac attacked her with a knife.

According to the FIR, Shalini sustained deep wounds to her neck, chest, and back. Based on a complaint filed by the couple’s 19-year-old son, a case has been registered against Isaac under Section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code (murder).It has come to light that the couple had frequent disputes in the past. After the murder, Isaac went live on Facebook, admitting, “I have killed my wife,” which caused a stir on social media. The video has since been removed. Isaac later surrendered at the police station. The police found Shalini’s body at the house. The police and forensic team are investigating, and the mobile phones of both Shalini and Isaac have been seized.In today’s society, some who once vowed to give their lives for love end up succumbing to the demon of suspicion, resorting to taking lives.
