MLA Iqbal Hussain's brother has been accused of a multi-crore scam. Allegations are surfacing that land worth thousands of rupees has been encroached upon. Isar Ahmed has primarily targeted the lands of the poor. There are claims that he has abruptly grabbed land in Bommasandrahalli in Ramanagara taluk.Survey number 297 with 4 acres and survey number 295 with 4 acres have been completely swallowed up. Isar Ahmed got the mutation done on May 19.The MLA's associates lured them by saying they would give 50,000 rupees and got the registration done. During the surveyors' visit, foul play occurred. The original landowners have filed a complaint with the AC and the police. A notice has now been issued to MLA Iqbal's brother Isar Ahmed. In 1927, the land was in the khata of one Rahim Khan. However, both the original landowners are deceased. Yet, people with the same names have been tracked down and used to get the mutation done. A 69-year-old Rahim Khan Saheb from Harohalli and Bob John Saheb from Mulbagal were brought in and the mutation was carried out in their names.
