Protests Erupt in Italy Demanding Recognition of a Palestinian State.!

This wave of protests reflects growing public anger in Italy over the government's stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Protests have erupted across Italy after Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni refused to recognize Palestine as a separate state. Protesters are demanding statehood for Palestine and an end to Israel's attacks on Gaza.

The protests reportedly began after Meloni explicitly stated her government would not grant statehood to Palestine.

Following her statement, demonstrators took to the streets, calling for a free Palestine and expressing outrage over Israel's continued attacks on Gaza, which have resulted in the deaths of thousands of civilians, including children. The ongoing crisis, including the displacement of thousands of people, has been widely reported by global media. Avadhut and His Teachers Paperback – 25 May 2025
