Five-year-old child actor Trisha Tosar captured everyone's attention at the 71st National Film Awards, where she was honored with the Best Child Artist award by President Droupadi Murmu. She received the prestigious award for her outstanding performance in the Marathi film 'Naal 2'.
The awards ceremony, held at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi, saw several prominent film personalities, including actors Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Mohanlal, being felicitated. However, it was Trisha who became the highlight of the event. Dressed in a traditional saree, the young girl gracefully walked onto the stage, bowed to the dignitaries, and accepted the award from the President. The audience gave her a standing ovation, acknowledging her remarkable achievement at such a young age.
'Naal 2', directed by Sudhakar Yakkanti and produced by acclaimed filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, was recognized for its moving narrative.
