The court also ordered the Superintendent to appear personally on September 30. Subsequently, the court extended the judicial custody of five other accused, including Pavithra Gowda and Darshan, until October 9, 2025, and adjourned the hearing to September 30.
Prior to this, on Thursday, seven accused, including Pavithra Gowda and Darshan, who are in jail, appeared for the hearing via video conference from the prison. Excluding the eighth accused, the remaining nine accused on bail appeared in person before the court. The court granted the petition filed by the counsel for the eighth accused, Ravishankar, seeking exemption from appearing for the hearing.
