Bengaluru, September 27: A violent incident sparked by a parking dispute escalated in Maragondanahalli, R.R. Layout, Bengaluru, where a man stabbed four individuals, including a minor. The victims, identified as Hemant, Hanumantamma, Ramesh, and a minor boy, were injured in the attack. The accused, Venkatesh, has been arrested by K.R. Puram police.

The incident, which occurred on the night of September 24 but came to light later, unfolded around 8:30 PM. Hemant was sitting with his uncle Ramesh outside their home when a Scorpio car was parked recklessly near a drain. Hemant questioned the driver, Venkatesh, about his rash driving and parking. This led to an altercation, with Venkatesh allegedly using abusive language and starting a fight. When Ramesh intervened, Venkatesh retrieved a knife from his car and stabbed Ramesh in his left thigh, causing him to collapse. Hearing the commotion, Ramesh’s wife Hanumantamma, Hemant, and a minor boy rushed to the scene, only to be attacked by Venkatesh with the knife as well. A case has been registered at K.R. Puram police station regarding the incident.
