The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the alleged conspiracy against Dharmasthala has stunned the temple's administration, even as thousands of devotees have flocked to the shrine to show their unwavering support. Dr. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, stated on Sunday that the conspiracy intended to prevent devotees from visiting the sacred site has been exposed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

He made these remarks while addressing devotees at the 'Satya Darshana Samavesha' (Truth Revelation Convention), which was organized by residents of 81 villages in the Belthangady taluk following a Chandika Homa ceremony at Dharmasthala.

Dr. Heggade thanked the state government for forming the SIT, asserting that the truth would not have surfaced without its intervention. "I welcomed the formation of the SIT on the very first day, and now the conspirators have been revealed," he said. He added that the conspirators' sole aim was to halt the flow of devotees and ultimately destroy the sanctity of the Kshetra (temple).

Temple Shines Brighter Amidst Challenges -

Dr. Heggade expressed confidence in the divine protection of the temple: "Excluding Lord Manjunatha Swamy and Lord Annappa Swamy, no one can stop devotees from visiting the Kshetra. Just as gold shines brighter when subjected to fire, Dharmasthala is glowing even more brightly amidst this challenge." He noted a significant increase in the number of devotees visiting the temple. He highlighted that while there were initial reports that people from his own taluk were not coming, today thousands of people from Belthangady and surrounding districts have arrived to express their gratitude and support.

Dr. Veerendra Heggade concluded by stating that several social welfare programs will be launched from Dharmasthala soon, emphasizing that the immense support from the devotees has further strengthened his resolve.
