Mysore : The world-renowned Mysore Dasara festival culminated in grandeur with the iconic Jamboo Savari procession on Today in Mysuru.

At the auspicious Kumbha Lagna between 4:42 PM and 5:06 PM, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah initiated the Jamboo Savari by offering floral tributes to Goddess Chamundeshwari.
Notable dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, graced the occasion. The procession, led by Abhimanyu, covered a 5-km route from the Mysore Palace through K.R. Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Ayurvedic Circle, and Bamboo Bazaar to Banni Mantap.
Thousands of tourists from across India and abroad witnessed the magnificent spectacle, as Mysuru dazzled like a celestial city with vibrant illuminations.

However, the massive crowd on Sayyaji Rao Road led to congestion, causing pushing and shoving among spectators. During the event, a woman collapsed due to breathing difficulties in the crowd and was promptly rushed to a hospital via ambulance.
The Navratri celebrations, filled with joy and fervor, concluded with the Dasara festivities.
