Ahmedabad, October 3, 2025: India have taken firm control on Day 2 of the first Test against West Indies at Narendra Modi Stadium, reaching 238/4(72 over) by lunch to lead by 76 runs. KL Rahul's masterful 11th Test century (100) and Shubman Gill's composed half-century (50) powered the hosts past West Indies' 162, before both fell in quick succession post-lunch. Debutant Dhruv Jurel (21*) and Ravindra Jadeja 13* now hold the fort, with the pitch offering turn for spinners Roston Chase (2/45) and Gudakesh Motie.Safari Flip 32L Casual Printed Backpack, 2 Compartments, Bottle Holder, Front Pocket, School Bag for Boys and Girls, College Bag, Office Bag, Travel Bag for Men and Women

Resuming at 121/2 (trailing by 41), openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rahul added 29 more before Jaiswal (36) edged Seales to slip. Rahul, anchoring with poise, brought up his ton off 150 balls amid applause, but nicked Chase to Hope soon after lunch. Gill, promoted to No. 4, notched his fifty with a classy drive but holed out off Motie, leaving India eyeing a 100+ lead. Bumrah and Siraj's Day 1 heroics (4/40 & 3/42) continue to haunt WI, who struggled with debuts for 22-year-old Tagenarine Chanderpaul and 34-year-old Khary Pierre.
