'Kantara Chapter 1', which achieved tremendous success on the box office charts across the country and the world right from its first day, has set a new record for Kannada cinema. Rishab Shetty, who struggled for even a single screening in 2016, is now witnessing the triumph of over 5,000 housefull shows and has expressed gratitude to his fans.

Right after the release of the Kantara Chapter 1 film, there is widespread discussion about its first-day earnings and the screenings in theaters. The film had already done brisk business even before release, generating significant revenue through the sale of OTT rights.

According to available information, Amazon Prime Video is said to have acquired the OTT rights for Kantara Chapter 1 for ₹125 crore. However, official confirmation on this is yet to emerge. Meanwhile, curiosity about the film's first-day collections is at an all-time high.

After every film's release, its first-day box office earnings always become the center of attention. Audiences and analysts show keen interest in the movie's initial performance. 'Kantara Chapter 1' has also drawn significant focus in this regard.

The 'Kantara Shiva Tandava' has begun at the box office, with the film delivering strong earnings on its very first day,

signaling a blockbuster success ahead. Analysts opine that this is an auspicious sign for the film's future collections.

'Kantara Chapter 1' earned ₹75 crore globally on its first day, while collecting ₹60 crore in the Indian market. In Karnataka, 'Kantara Chapter 1' has broken the record set by 'KGF 2' by earning ₹30 crore. The film has also received positive responses in Telugu and Tamil states. With 88,000 tickets being sold per hour on BookMyShow, this marks a major victory for Kannada cinema.

It's the first time a Kannada film has seen ticket sales on this scale. By the weekend, 'Kantara Chapter 1' is expected to reach the ₹500 crore milestone in worldwide collections. Analysts predict that earnings will rise further from the second day onward
