Led by Captain Abhimanyu, the elephant squad moved gracefully through crowds of lakhs without any hesitation, earning widespread admiration. Abhimanyu, carrying the golden howdah for the sixth consecutive year, drew such large crowds that police had to struggle to maintain order. Mahouts and kavadis took extra care to ensure people did not approach the elephants too closely. Also Read: General Upendra Dwivedi Urges Soldiers to Be Ready for Operations at Any Moment

It was common for many to approach mahouts, kavadis, and forest department staff, requesting opportunities to take photos with the elephants. During the Jumboo Savari, Abhimanyu carried the 750 kg golden howdah adorned with the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari for the sixth consecutive time. After completing the 5 km procession from the palace to Bannimantap, a tired Abhimanyu was affectionately hugged and kissed by his mahout, Vasanth, who showered him with love.

At the camp, other elephants like Bhima, Lakshmi, Roopa, and Ekalavya were seen grazing on fodder and resting. In front of them, mahouts, kavadis, and their children were also taking a break. The families of mahouts and kavadis were preparing to return to the forest camps, making necessary arrangements for the journey.
