Bengaluru, Oct 4: A skeleton was discovered in an under-construction apartment in the Kothanur police station limits, causing alarm in the city. The skeleton is suspected to belong to a person who died approximately 7-8 months ago. Due to a pending court case related to the building, no construction work had taken place for the past 10 years, leaving the structure abandoned.
Locals have alleged that illegal activities were occurring at the site. On Friday (Oct 3), when the building owners and workers visited the site to resume construction and carry out cleaning, the skeleton was found on the fourth floor. The Kothanur police and SOCO (Scene of Crime Officer) team visited the site for inspection. READ ALSO:

The skeleton has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and preliminary investigations suggest it belongs to a man aged 35-40 years. The skeleton was found lying down, dressed in a shirt and pants. The Kothanur police have registered the case as an unnatural death and stated that further investigations are underway to determine the cause of death and the identity of the individual.
