Bagalkot: A tragic accident occurred on Friday near Bodanayakanadinni Cross, where a teacher fell from a bike and died on the spot while returning after completing an educational and social survey. Danamma Nandargi (45), a teacher at Rampur Government Primary School in Bagalkot taluk, lost her life.

Danamma had gone to Sitamani village for the survey and was returning to Bagalkot with her son on a bike when it lost control and skidded near Bodanayakanadinni Cross. She sustained severe head injuries and passed away at the scene. A case has been registered at the Bagalkot Rural Police Station. Ministers’ Condolences: District In-charge Minister R.B. Timmapur expressed grief over Danamma Nandargi’s demise, stating that the teacher’s death has caused immense sorrow. He prayed for strength for her family to bear the loss. District Commissioner Sangappa M also conveyed condolences.
