Rishab Shetty's directed movie 'Kantara: Chapter 1' has achieved massive success at the box office by earning over ₹100 crore in just two days of release. This extraordinary achievement joins the league of a few Kannada films.

Released on October 2 for the Dasara festival, the film features Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles.
Having collected ₹62 crore on the first day, the film increased its momentum by earning ₹43.65 crore on the second day, Friday. The total collection in India has reached ₹105.5 crore.

Looking at the language-wise collections on the first day: Kannada ₹20 crore, Telugu ₹13 crore, Hindi ₹18.5 crore, Tamil ₹5.5 crore, and Malayalam ₹5.25 crore.
Analysts opine that if it continues at this pace, 'Kantara: Chapter 1' has every possibility of entering the ₹300 crore club.
