External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar clarified India's firm stance in US-India trade talks, stating that India will exercise caution on certain issues.

Amid the crisis in bilateral relations between India and the US due to America's tariff policies, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated on Sunday that any trade agreement must respect India's 'red lines.' Speaking at a dialogue session during the 4th Kautilya Economic Conclave, Jaishankar acknowledged that there are some issues between India and the US. Jaishankar emphasized that while discussions are possible on some matters, they are not feasible on others. This statement clarifies India's stance in trade negotiations.
