Koppal, October 7: In a tragic incident, three devotees lost their lives when a private sleeper coach bus collided with a group of pilgrims walking to the Huligemma Temple. The deceased have been identified as Annapurna (40), Prakash (25), and Sharanappa (19), all residents of Tallihala village in Ron taluk, Gadag district. They were on a pilgrimage to the Huligemma Temple. Four others were seriously injured in the accident and have been admitted to Koppal District Hospital for treatment. At the time of the incident, the pilgrims were just three hours' walk away from the temple. Koppal District Superintendent of Police, Dr. Ram Arasiddi, visited the accident site and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered at Munirabad Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing.
