Bengaluru, October 7, 2025: The flamboyant lawyer Jagadish, always seen in suits and boots, trim and ready, who gained fame as a former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant for his bold statements and frequent controversies, is now in the eye of a storm over a "mori" (manhole) cleaning dispute. An FIR has been registered against him following an altercation near Kodigehalli.

Hanumanthayya alleged in his complaint that Jagadish and his son abused them with derogatory words, assaulted them, and injured his son's toe with a kick. Public Persona: Known for his outspoken nature on social media and reality TV, Jagadish often stirs debates on various issues. He was a contestant on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11 but was evicted amid controversies.

Past Incidents: This isn't his first brush with the law. In January 2025, he was arrested by Kodigehalli police along with his son Aryan, gunman, and driver after a mob altercation over an Annam Devi idol installation near his Kodigehalli residence, where shots were fired into the air. He has faced prior FIRs, including for court disruptions in 2022 and casteist remarks in August 2025.

Police are probing the latest complaint for assault and verbal abuse under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). No arrests have been made yet, but tensions remain high in the area.
