Karnataka High Court Questions HD Kumaraswamy: “If Land Granted to Others Was Purchased, Shouldn’t There Be Documents?”

The case was heard by a division bench comprising Justice D.K. Singh and Justice K. Rajesh Rai. After listening to arguments from both sides, the court directed the state government to submit the investigation report prepared by the District Collector regarding the land bearing Survey Nos. 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, and 79 in Kethaganahalli at the next hearing. Additionally, the court instructed Kumaraswamy to file objections to the Tahsildar’s notice and adjourned the hearing to October 27, 2025.
