The Rajasthan Intelligence Department has arrested a man named Mangat Singh under the Official Secrets Act of 1923 on charges of spying and having suspicious contact with Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

The accused was allegedly in contact with a Pakistani woman identified as Isha Sharma.

Mangat Singh, a resident of Govindgarh in Alwar district, was apprehended on suspicion of espionage specifically, the sharing of classified or sensitive intelligence information with the ISI. Authorities allege that Singh was involved in conveying secret messages to Pakistan’s ISI. Furthermore, he is accused of being involved in a honeytrap and money transfer scheme in collaboration with the Pakistani woman.

The suspected activities of the accused came to light through surveillance conducted near the Alwar Cantonment area. The investigation revealed that Singh was in contact with a Pakistani woman named Isha Sharma and was allegedly transmitting sensitive information to her. A case has been registered, and the CID Intelligence Department made the arrest at a special police station in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
