What is the Viksit Bharat Buildathon?
The Buildathon is described as "India's largest School Innovation Hackathon," providing an opportunity for over five crore children from three lakh secondary schools across the country to showcase their practical talent. Students can register for the campaign with the help of their parents and teachers.
Participants are invited to present their ideas that contribute to nation-building based on four core themes:
Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India)
Swadeshi (Indigenous)
Vocal for Local
Samriddh Bharat (Prosperous India)
The program is a unique, nationwide innovation movement being executed by the Union Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and NITI Aayog, involving approximately 2.5 lakh schools.
