Following intelligence reports indicating active terrorist launch pads along the Line of Control (LoC), security measures have been tightened in the Kashmir Valley to prevent winter infiltrations. The BSF has gone into full alert mode, maintaining constant vigil over terrorist movements across the border. Intelligence sources reveal that terrorists are poised and waiting in several launch pads to infiltrate into the valley.

Per BSF sources, such infiltration attempts are commonplace during winter, and security arrangements have been reinforced well in advance. Khandare stated that infiltration attempts by terrorists surge as soon as winter begins. "Therefore, we have strengthened surveillance along the border and alerted our troops and officers," he added. According to intelligence inputs, several terrorist launch pads have already become active along the border, with militants preparing to infiltrate from there. Estimating the exact number of terrorists is challenging at present, but reports confirm activity in some areas. In response to the intelligence reports, the Army and BSF have jointly ramped up security along the border. Both forces are fully prepared, with joint patrols deployed. According to the BSF, "No one can infiltrate undetected past the watchful eyes of our troops."
