Bengaluru, October 13: Crimes such as murder, robbery, and sexual assault are on the rise in Bengaluru, causing women to fear stepping out at any time of day or night. In a recent incident, a female doctor was sexually harassed by a man while traveling on a KSRTC bus.
The accused has been handed over to the police by fellow passengers and the bus conductor, and a case has been registered against him. The incident occurred on a KSRTC bus (KA-04-F-1543) traveling from Doddaballapura to Bengaluru. Despite her attempts to avoid him, the accused continued the harassment. Frustrated, the doctor informed her brother and the bus driver. Her brother contacted the police, and with the help of passengers and the conductor, the accused was apprehended and handed over to the Sanjay Nagar police station. The doctor filed a complaint, and the police have taken legal action against the accused.
