Renowned North Karnataka theater artist and comedian Raju Talikote passed away due to a heart attack. His demise is an irreparable loss to Kannada theater, as he had captivated audiences with numerous performances through his “Khasgateshwara” drama troupe.

Senior theater artist and Kannada film comedian Raju Talikote succumbed to a heart attack. Known for his unique acting, he was a beloved figure in North Karnataka’s theater scene. Hailing from Chikksindagi village in Sindagi taluk, Vijayapura district, he later settled in Talikote town.

Beyond being an artist, Raju Talikote was also the owner of the “Khasgateshwara” drama troupe. Through hundreds of performances in the villages of North Karnataka, he brought laughter and joy, establishing himself as a true people’s artist.

His passion for acting began in childhood. Building his career through theater, Raju Talikote also appeared in several Kannada films, playing comedic roles. His simplicity, charming speech, and natural acting style gave him a unique identity.
