The producers recently issued an official statement regarding Deepika Padukone’s exit from the project. “It is officially announced that Deepika Padukone will not be acting in the upcoming sequel of Kalki. We have decided to part ways,” the statement read.
“Despite the long journey of making the first film, we couldn’t find a partnership. A project of this magnitude requires that level of commitment and more.
