Under this new policy, users under the age of 18 will now default to a 'PG-13' rated feed, with mandatory parental approval required to access a wider range of content.

This major change is specifically aimed at enhancing user safety for minors. The PG-13 (Parental Guidance Suggested, 13+) default setting ensures that teenagers are initially shown only content deemed appropriate for their age group, providing them with a restricted or curated experience.

What the PG-13 Feed Limits -

Under this new default setting, teenagers will be restricted from searching for or being recommended content related to subjects considered mature or sensitive. This includes posts featuring or related to:

Provocative or risky stunts and challenges.Harmful or derogatory topics, Sexually explicit imagery, Drug or substance abuse.

Parental Permission Required for Change -

If a teenager wishes to change these default settings to view a broader range of content, they will be mandatorily required to obtain explicit permission from their parents or legal guardians.
