On the eve of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Election Commission (EC) is holding a high-level meeting today at 11 AM to ensure a lawful and transparent electoral process.

Key enforcement agencies, including the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Enforcement Directorate (ED), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and Border Security Force (BSF), will participate.

Discussions will center on coordinated efforts to tighten surveillance along Bihar's state and international borders. Bihar's Chief Secretary, Director General of Police (DGP), and Chief Electoral Officer will join virtually.Meanwhile, political activities have intensified ahead of the polls.

On the other hand, BJP leader Amit Shah and the party's chief ministerial candidates are expected to arrive in Bihar soon to kick off their campaign, further heating up the electoral atmosphere.
