The newlyweds have become an inspiration by adhering to the 'Mantra Mangalya' principle a simple, non-ritualistic wedding concept championed by the great Kannada poet and writer, Kuvempu.

Suhana Syed, the popular musical talent known for her stint on the Kannada reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,' has entered wedlock with her long-time partner, Nithin, in a simple 'Mantra Mangalya' ceremony, setting an example for societal harmony.

Suhana Syed married Nithin, a theatre artist with whom she has shared a relationship and bond for 16 years. The wedding was a simple affair. Nithin, a Bengaluru native, received his drama training at the renowned theatre institute, Ninasam.

The couple's love triumphed as they secured the blessings of both their families and opted for an inter-faith marriage. Suhana Syed rose to fame during her participation in Zee Kannada's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 13, where her unique style of singing garnered attention. As a Muslim woman, she had previously faced online trolling and controversy for singing Hindu devotional songs (Bhajans), but she continued to pursue her musical talent undeterred. Commenting on their journey, Suhana stated, "We were high school friends and have known each other since then. At the time, we didn't know if it was friendship or love. We have received the consent of both our families and are now married. We have stepped into married life and trust that the people of Karnataka will bless us with love.
