Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai described this development as a historic day for the nation, highlighting the success of anti-Naxal operations and the effectiveness of government initiatives. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had recently warned Naxals to either surrender or face security forces' action, and this significant surrender follows his statement.

On Wednesday, 28 Maoists had surrendered in Chhattisgarh, followed by this massive surrender. Reports also indicate that two Naxals surrendered in Jharkhand, reflecting a positive response to the government’s peace initiatives in Naxal-affected regions.
