"Tejasvi Surya, the Amavasya, hasn't brought funds from the Centre either": CM Siddaramaiah

"The MPs don't demand the funds due to Karnataka from the Centre. In the south, that Amavasya Tejasvi Surya hasn't asked for funds either," CM Siddaramaiah said, launching a sharp attack.

Bengaluru: Speaking at a recent event in Bengaluru, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accused the state's MPs, particularly Tejasvi Surya and Shobha Karandlaje, of failing to raise their voices in Parliament to secure central funds for Karnataka. "The MPs don't demand the funds due to Karnataka from the Centre. In the south, that Amavasya Tejasvi Surya hasn't asked for funds either," CM Siddaramaiah said, launching a sharp attack.

He further stated, "The MPs aren't demanding the funds owed to Karnataka. P.C. Mohan hasn't asked, that Amavasya Tejasvi Surya from the south hasn't asked for funds from the Centre, and that lady Shobha Karandlaje hasn't brought any money either. Even Minister Kumaraswamy hasn't demanded funds from the Centre. So, defeat all these MPs, including Kumaraswamy," the CM urged.PALAY® Straw Hat Sun Hats for Women,

He added that Prime Minister Modi holds a grudge against Karnataka, and the state receives no funds from the Central government. "We pay taxes to the Centre, but they don't return our money. For every rupee we pay in taxes, we get only 14-15 paise back. Yet, BJP leaders talk about central funds. They put up banners claiming GST reductions as a Diwali gift. After collecting taxes for eight years, they call it a Diwali gift. What kind of Diwali gift is this?" he remarked sarcastically.
