Weather Department Predicts More Rain for Bengaluru as City Enjoys Cool Clime!

Recently, weather anomalies have been reported across the state, including in the city, with heavy rainfall recorded in several areas. The Meteorological Department has indicated that even more rainfall is expected in the coming days.

Bengaluru: The city, along with several parts of the state, has recently experienced unseasonal weather changes, with heavy rainfall reported in many areas. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has now forecast a continuation of this wet spell, predicting more rain.

Today, rain has provided Bengaluru residents with a blanket of cold and a cool atmosphere. The city has been experiencing continuous showers and overcast skies for the past week. Due to the incessant rain, major routes in the city are expected to face traffic disruptions and congestion. The IMD has therefore issued a warning for light to heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, across several locations.

Following days of drizzles and heavy rain, the weather department has issued an alert, stating that intense rainfall is expected in Bengaluru and many other districts across the state starting today, and continuing until October 27. Given this heavy rainfall, there is a possibility that the Dussehra and Diwali holidays for schools and colleges might be extended.
