Russia-US-Ukraine: Russian Envoy Claims Diplomatic Resolution is Near

Kirill Dmitriev, a special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, stated during a visit to the US that a diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine conflict is “significantly closer.” This comes amid ongoing dialogue despite US sanctions on two major Russian oil companies.

Dmitriev, speaking after meetings with Trump administration officials, expressed optimism about negotiations involving Russia, the US, and Ukraine. He told Russian media that he conveyed Russia’s stance on the Ukraine war and believes the parties are “substantially close” to a diplomatic solution.Vogaan Men's Polo Shirt and Shorts Set | Summer Fashion Short Sleeve Solid Zipper 2 Pieces Outfits for Men

In an interview with CNN, Dmitriev highlighted a shift in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s position, noting that Zelenskyy has agreed to discuss terms related to the conflict’s frontlines, moving away from his earlier stance demanding Russia’s complete withdrawal. “I believe we are significantly closer to a diplomatic resolution,” Dmitriev said.
