'Ready to Quit Ministerial Post if High Command Directs': Minister Krishna Byre Gowda Amid Cabinet Reshuffle Buzz!

Speaking to the media at the KPCC office today, Gowda responded to questions regarding the upcoming cabinet reshuffle.

Amid ongoing speculation surrounding the next Chief Minister, state cabinet reshuffling, and the 'November Revolution' movement, Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has stated he is ready to sacrifice his ministerial position if directed by the Congress High Command.

"The decision has been made to reconstruct the cabinet after two years to give an opportunity to those who were kept out when the government was formed," he said. "Those who are eligible should get a chance."

Gowda clarified that the issue of cabinet restructuring is unrelated to any change in leadership, asserting that deciding on leadership is a matter for the High Command alone. Satisfaction with Opportunity, Not Work -

Expressing his personal stance, Gowda stated: "The Congress party has given me the opportunity to serve as a minister three times. I am satisfied and full when it comes to opportunity, but not with the work. There is still work pending to be done."

He added that political decisions are made within the party's framework and taken at the appropriate time, noting that "everyone comes with a different opinion; the five fingers are not equal."

When asked to comment on the statement made by Yatindra Siddaramaiah, Gowda declined, stating he would not discuss those matters. He maintained that he is focused on the responsibilities and work assigned to him by the Chief Minister.

He also took a jab at the opposition, criticizing BJP members for engaging in political gossip, suggesting they "have no other work" but to "further their own interests" by making such comments.
