Bengaluru, October 26: A freak fire erupted in Bengaluru's Banashankari Bank Colony, reducing a daily essentials shop to ashes in no time.

The mishap, owned by Shambushetty, struck around 11 PM on Saturday night.Housed on the ground floor of a two-story building, the fire is suspected to have started from a short-circuited UPS device.
