Cyclone Montha: Heavy Rain Alert for Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, and Odisha!

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for major parts of Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, which form the eastern coastal region, due to the impending threat of Cyclone Montha.

The intensifying Cyclone Montha in the Bay of Bengal has prompted a rain alert for the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha. Authorities have been put on high alert, as the storm is expected to bring widespread heavy rainfall accompanied by winds gusting at speeds of 90-100 km/h.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has cautioned that the low-pressure system associated with Cyclone Montha, which is approaching the eastern coast from the Bay of Bengal, will result in extremely heavy rainfall over coastal areas in the coming weeks.

Cyclone Montha, named by Thailand, is expected to make landfall near Kakinada between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam on October 28. mi Smart Watch for Kids Boys Men Women Girls ID116 Plus 2025 Waterproof Fitness Band for Android iOS – Sports Tracker, Sleep & Heart Rate Monitor – Black
