Bengaluru, Oct. 27: A gun attack occurred this evening in Islamapur, targeting gram panchayat member Salim Pasha, as confirmed by Bengaluru Rural Superintendent of Police C.K. Baba. While Salim Pasha was seated in a mutton shop, an assailant approached, invoked someone else's name by saying "from him," and opened fire.
One round was fired, striking below the shoulder and causing injury. "We rushed to the scene and conducted an inspection. Allegations are surfacing that the same individuals behind a 2021 attack on Salim Pasha may be responsible for this incident. "We will thoroughly investigate these claims," the SP assured. A case has been registered at Nelamangala Rural Police Station under charges of attempted murder and the Arms Act. The injured Salim Pasha is out of danger and stable.
