"Good for you! While Indians file patents, excel in education, launch cutting-edge startups, and become billionaires, you should focus on making those AI-generated poop videos!" quipped one netizen.

In a controversial turn, American YouTuber Tyler Oliviera has sparked widespread outrage among netizens after releasing a derogatory video mocking the distinctive 'Gore Habba'—a cow dung-throwing festival known as Sagani Erachadu—held in Gumtapur village on the border of Karnataka's Chamarajanagar district. By misinterpreting the event's deep cultural significance and portraying Indians in a belittling manner, the video has ignited a fierce online debate.

A Tradition Rooted in FaithAccording to local beliefs, Gumtapur's deity Beereshwara was born from cow dung, holding profound spiritual meaning for devotees. To honor this, every year on the day after Diwali, young men enthusiastically engage in the ritual of throwing cow dung at one another. Far from mere playfulness, this festival serves as a vibrant celebration that preserves rural heritage and traditions.

The YouTuber's Provocative Participation Tyler Oliviera from the US joined the festivities, even participating by throwing cow dung alongside local youth. However, his subsequent upload turned offensive, ridiculing Indian culture and laced with disparaging remarks. On the 'X' platform (formerly Twitter), he shared photos and videos from the event, captioning them: "I survived India's poop-throwing festival. Let me go, it's too gross—I need to get out of here." The post has gone viral, amassing over 5 million views.

"You came all the way to India, crashed the event, filmed the Sagani Habba video, and now you're crying like a sore loser—why?" mocked another. Consensual Sexual Relations Are Not a Crime: High Court Verdict in Dating App Case
