Videos titled claiming that Bigg Boss winner and popular singer Hanumanthu faced insult at Belagavi's Kittur Utsav are going viral on social media. The incident gained traction alongside a video of a verbal exchange between SP Bhimashankar Guled and Vidyavati Bhajantri, Deputy Director of the Kannada and Culture Department.
Allegations surfaced that Hanumanthu’s singing was stopped because of Hindi songs. To clear the air amid all this confusion, SP Bhimashankar Guled has personally issued a clarification about the event.Shivanna Who Stole Hearts in Simply City... Do You Know What He Did at Chennai Railway Station?
Guled stated that the news circulating on social media is completely false. There was an argument between Vidyavati and himself regarding the program's timing. It was not about Kannada versus Hindi language issues, he emphasized.
He explained, "The program was supposed to end at 9:30 PM, but Vidyavati said it would conclude at 10:30 PM. There is no fault on her part. Since this involves two officials, this clarification is being provided."
Guled detailed the precautionary measures, saying, "As singers Balu Belagundi and Hanumanthu took the stage, the crowd surged. Some spectators were climbing electric poles and the crossbars that had been set up."
Announcements were made over the microphone about this. To prevent any untoward incidents, it was our duty to end the program at the time indicated in the invitation, Bhimashankar Guled informed.
