Bumrah's Return: The Indian bowling attack receives a major boost with the return of pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested during the ODI series. His duel against aggressive Australian openers like Travis Head will be highly anticipated.

India's Aggression: India is likely to maintain its fearless, attacking T20 philosophy. The batting core of vice-captain Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma (currently the world's No. 1 T20I batter), and power-hitter Rinku Singh is expected to set an aggressive tempo.

Suryakumar Yadav (c), Sanju Samson (wk), Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Jitesh Sharma,

Australia squad

Mitchell Marsh (c), Josh Inglis (wk),Travis Head, Matthew Short, Tim David, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Owen, Xavier Bartlett, Sean Abbott, Matthew Kuhnemann, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Philippe, Nathan Ellis, Tanveer Sangha, Ben Dwarshuis,

Aussie Firepower: Led by Mitchell Marsh, the hosts possess explosive middle-order hitters like Tim David and Marcus Stoinis. They will rely on Marsh's form and the disciplined bowling of Josh Hazlewood (available for the first two games).

Pitch Report: The Manuka Oval surface often starts well for batters but tends to slow down, offering grip for spinners. A score in the range of 160–170 is considered a competitive total.

This series is critical for both sides to test their bench strength and finalize team combinations ahead of the marquee T20 World Cup next year.

The toss for the 1st T20I is scheduled for 1:15 PM IST later today.
