Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru has implemented strict security arrangements for actor Darshan and the co-accused in the brutal Renukaswamy murder case. Considering the seriousness of the case and public attention, Darshan and others have been placed in a separate quarantine cell. The cell is around 20x30 in size, without TV or entertainment facilities. Two surveillance cameras are installed to monitor every movement inside the cell continuously.

Every day at 6:30 AM, jail staff check the cell. Four officers working in the area must wear body cameras throughout their duty shift. After the shift ends, all recorded footage must be uploaded immediately for secure storage. Darshan and other accused have requested to be shifted to another secure barrack.
