Bengaluru: Former minister and senior MLA H.Y. Meti has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, due to ill health. In light of this, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, a fellow party member, inquired about MLA H.Y. Meti's health. Hullappa Yamanappa Meti is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Indian National Congress, was a member of the 14th Karnataka Legislative Assembly, and served as a former minister in the Siddaramaiah cabinet. In the 2013 Karnataka Assembly elections, Meti was elected from the Bagalkot Assembly constituency, securing 68,216 votes. In the 2018 Karnataka Assembly elections, he lost to BJP's Veerabhadrayya Charantimath by a margin of 15,934 votes.
