Two individuals have succumbed to the attempt, while the condition of the other two remains critical. House owner Kumarappa sought refuge in hanging himself, while his wife and two sons ingested poison. According to reports, house owner Kumarappa (60) and son Arun (30) have passed away. Wife Rama (55) and the other son Akshay (25) have been admitted to the hospital, where treatment continues.

Devanahalli: In a shocking incident, four members of the same family attempted suicide at their home in Hegganahalli, Devanahalli taluk, but the exact reason behind this tragic event remains unknown. The family reportedly attempted suicide in the evening, and locals, alerted by faint cries from the house, rushed the distressed individuals to the hospital for immediate medical attention. The mother and son are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hebbal. A bottle of alcohol and a poison container were discovered at the residence of the deceased. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Chikkajala Police Station, and investigations are ongoing.
